WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: Become proficient in GIA's internationally recognised Diamond Grading System. Learn how to judge and grade clarity, colour and cut quality factors of round brilliant diamonds. See and examine a diverse sampling of the most common diamond features you will encounter in your career.

ABOUT THE CLASS: You'll spend over 18 hours practicing diamond grading techniques with actual diamonds that have been carefully selected and graded in GIA's own Gem Trade Laboratory. Through our uinque combination of one-on-one coaching and integrated video, you'll learn to grade diamonds more consistantly and accurately using the very latest in gem microscopes.

YOU'LL EARN: A GIA letter of completion

APPLICATIONS:

• Applications must be made well in advance because of the limited number of students that can be accommodated at any specific intake.
• Admission is solely at the school's discretion.
• A deposit of 50% is required to secure a place on the course. Do not send any deposit until a place is offered to you.
• The balance of the fees must be paid before commencement of the course.
• Fees are not refundable after commencement of the course.
• This course is also the practical component (GIA Extension class) for students enrolled for GIA Graduate Gemologist Diploma (GG) or for those who want to obtain the GIA Graduate Diamonds Diploma.
